David Stokoe
1989-1992
One of the most prolific scorers in Randolph hockey history, David Stokoe was a relentless offensive force throughout his four-year varsity career. In 1992, he earned Star-Ledger All-State honors after a remarkable senior season in which he recorded 66 points, including 42 goals and 24 assists. His 42 goals tied the school’s single-season record and ranked 11th in the state.
That same year, Stokoe led the Morris County Hockey League in scoring and delivered in the biggest moments—netting game-winning goals in both the Mennen Cup semifinal against Morristown-Beard and the final against Delbarton. Randolph’s 1992 Mennen Cup championship was the program’s first major title.
A two-year team captain, Stokoe finished his career with 169 points, second all-time in school history, and his 110 career goals still stand as a Randolph record more than three decades later. The 1992 team finished 15-4-4, ranked 6th in the state and 2nd among public schools.
