John Trabachino
1980-1994
John Trabachino, inducted into the Randolph Athletic Hall of Fame in 2021, served as the head coach of the Girls Basketball team from 1980 to 1994. Under his leadership, the team achieved an impressive record of 192 wins and 119 losses, boasting a winning percentage of .617. Trabachino guided the team to become the Morris County Champions in 1989 and celebrated an incredible longest winning streak of 21 games. His coaching excellence was recognized with the Morris County Coach of the Year award in 1985, 1989, and 1992. Additionally, he led the team to a State Sectional Championship in 1990 and secured undefeated IHC Conference Championships in both 1989 and 1992. Trabachino also initiated an Out of Season Strength Training Program, contributing to the development of his athletes.
