1983 Football Team
Inducted into the Randolph Athletic Hall of Fame in 2017, the 1983 Boys Football Team is celebrated for their remarkable achievements during a historic season. Under the guidance of their coaches, the team not only secured the title of State Champions in Section North Jersey 2, Group III, but also claimed the Conference Championship with an impressive 10-1 record. A highlight of their season was a stunning victory over the previously unbeaten Linden team, which was ranked #20 nationally at the time. This victory was particularly significant as Linden had just defeated Union, the number one team in the state and also ranked in the top 20 nationally by USA Today. The 1983 Boys Football Team's legacy continues to inspire future generations of athletes.
