Victor Amada

1977-1980

Victor Amada was a powerhouse on the mat for Randolph wrestling in the late 1970s, compiling a stellar 68-9-1 career record with a .883 winning percentage and 27 career pins.

In 1980, he capped off his senior season with a 27-1 record and a third-place finish at the New Jersey State Championships. That same year, he was named Outstanding Wrestler at the Regionals, where he claimed the regional title—part of a dominant run that also included three straight District Championships and three All-Morris County selections from 1978 to 1980.

Amada also led the team in point average for three consecutive seasons, a program record that stood for 35 years. A two-time team captain, he helped define a winning era for Randolph wrestling through consistency, leadership, and unmatched intensity.
