Sam Hakim
1992-1995
A dominant force on the mat, Sam Hakim was one of the most accomplished wrestlers in Randolph history. A two-time Morris County and District Champion (1993, 1994) and 1993 Regional Champion, Hakim capped that season by placing 3rd in the State with a 31–2 record.
Over his career, he amassed a 76–11 record (.874)—the 12th best winning percentage in program history—and recorded 51 career falls, ranking 13th all-time. Known for his explosive style, Hakim set the fastest fall in team history (7 seconds) and holds the 5th best career fall percentage (58.6%).
As team captain in 1995, he helped lead Randolph to a 63–10 team record, including an 18–0 season, three IHC titles, three Sectional Championships, and the school’s only Group 4 State Title.
