Rena Antanelis

1977-1981

Rena Antanelis, a versatile and accomplished athlete from 1977 to 1981, was inducted into the Randolph Athletic Hall of Fame in 2014. As an All-State performer in both winter and spring track for three consecutive years (1978-1981), Rena showcased her exceptional talent. She set the state record in the shot put during the 1980 winter season and became the National Javelin Champion in 1981. Rena still holds Randolph school records in the shot put, discus, and javelin, all of which remain unbroken to this day. Her track and field prowess earned her 16 state championships across winter and spring track events. In addition to her track achievements, Rena was an outstanding swimmer and softball player and a talented pianist. Her remarkable contributions to Randolph athletics have solidified her legacy as one of the school's greatest athletes.
