Laura Kerrigan
1981-1984
Laura Kerrigan was a once-in-a-generation athlete whose dominance across multiple sports made her one of the most decorated competitors in Randolph history. A four-year varsity athlete in soccer and basketball, she also excelled on the softball diamond, earning All-Area honors with an incredible .639 batting average.
On the soccer field, Kerrigan’s achievements were nothing short of historic. She was named New Jersey High School Athlete of the Year in Soccer (1984-85) and earned High School All-American honors. She set records that stood the test of time, becoming New Jersey’s all-time leading career scorer with 190 goals and setting the single-season goal record with 69 goals.
Her dominance wasn’t limited to the pitch. On the basketball court, Kerrigan was an All-State selection, finishing her career with an impressive 1,357 points. Her ability to excel at the highest level in multiple sports showcased her remarkable versatility, skill, and competitiveness.
