Misty-Leigh Brennan
1990-1993
A four-year starter and cornerstone of Randolph’s dominant early-’90s girls soccer teams, Misty-Leigh Brennan combined skill, leadership, and versatility. Originally a forward, she transitioned to sweeper in 1993, anchoring a defense that allowed only seven goals and recorded 17 shutouts en route to a 19-1-1 season, Morris County and IHC Conference titles, and a .950 winning percentage.
That year, Brennan earned Star-Ledger First Team All-State, was named by the N.J.G.S.C.A. as one of the state’s top players, selected for the NJ All-Star Senior Game, and honored on the NSCAA All-America Team.
Across four seasons, her teams posted a 71-8-4 record (.900), while she tallied 37 goals and 28 assists. As team captain in 1993, Brennan embodied the competitive excellence that defined Randolph soccer’s golden era.
