Mike Groh

A versatile force on Randolph’s powerhouse 1990 football team, Mike Groh earned First Team All-State honors as a quarterback, safety, and kicker. He threw for 1,124 yards and 9 touchdowns, made 27 tackles with 3 interceptions on defense, and kicked the game-winning field goal against Montclair.

Groh’s leadership helped secure Randolph’s fifth straight sectional title and extend the Rams’ historic win streak to a then–state record 49 games. The undefeated squad (10–0) claimed its sixth consecutive IHC crown and finished the season ranked #1 in New Jersey.
