Justin Malinchak

1990-1991

A rare two-sport All-State athlete, Justin Malinchak earned First Team All-State honors in both football and spring track. On the football field in 1990, he was a dynamic two-way player at fullback and linebacker, rushing for 704 yards on 135 carries, catching 14 passes for 163 yards, and scoring 138 points—ranking 8th in the state.

In the spring of 1991, Malinchak dominated the javelin, sweeping the Conference, County, Sectional, and Group titles. He capped the season with a runner-up finish at the Meet of Champions and set a school record of 208' 11", which remains among the best in New Jersey history. He served as team captain of the spring track team his senior year.
