Willard "Woody" Hedden

Willard "Woody" Hedden, inducted into the Randolph Athletic Hall of Fame in 2014, played a pivotal role in shaping the foundation of Randolph’s athletic legacy. As Board President and a long-serving Board member, Woody oversaw the construction of Randolph High School and the development of key athletic facilities, including the football field, track, and field house, all dedicated in 1968. He was a driving force behind the creation of the Randolph Midget Football program and, in 1966, was responsible for hiring John J. Bauer as Football Coach and Athletic Director, setting the stage for decades of success.
