Joseph Nazzaro
1968-Present
Joseph Nazzaro, inducted into the Randolph Athletic Hall of Fame in 2018, has made significant contributions to the development of athletics in Randolph since 1968. As a key figure in starting the Boys Lacrosse Program, he dedicated 26 years to coaching the 8th grade lacrosse team and played a pivotal role in the establishment of Friday Night Football. His commitment to the community is evident through his 35 years on the Randolph Recreation Advisory Board and his involvement in the development of Freedom Park. Nazzaro's contributions to lacrosse were recognized when he was elected to the NJ Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 1997. Additionally, he served on the Randolph Board of Education from 1975 to 1978 and had a long career as a teacher and administrator at the County College of Morris from 1965 to 2007. In 2014, he was honored as the Randolph Volunteer of the Year.
