Ann Clifton

Ann Clifton is a distinguished coach who made a significant impact on Randolph's athletic programs from 1990 to 1997 and again in 2010. She led the Girls Soccer team to remarkable success, achieving seven conference championships, five Morris County championships, and a state championship in 1991, along with being state runner-up in 1993 and 1994. Under her guidance, the team became the state and national champions in 1995, earning the top ranking in the USA. Clifton's coaching accolades include being named the NJGSCA North II Soccer Coach of the Year in 1992, Morris County Coach of the Year in 1993, and the NJGSCA Large School and State Coach of the Year in the same year. She was also honored as the NSCAA National Soccer Coach of the Year in 1994. With an impressive overall coaching record of 168 wins, 44 losses, and 13 ties, she has coached 32 players to All-State honors and 3 to NSCAA All-American honors. In recognition of her contributions to the sport, she was elected to the NJGSCA Hall of Fame in 2014.
