1988 Football Team
The 1988 Randolph football team delivered a perfect 11–0 season, capturing the North 2 Group 3 State Sectional Championship and extending the program’s legendary winning streak to 28 games—even after graduating nearly all of the starters from the previous year.
Ranked #1 in the area and 4th in the state, the team was named Team of the Year and cemented its legacy with one of the most iconic moments in Randolph football history—“The Drive.” That championship-clinching possession covered 22 plays, included two fourth-down conversions and nine completed passes, and ended with a game-winning two-yard touchdown run with just 26 seconds remaining.
