Tony Williams
1989
Tony Williams was a three-year varsity starter and the 1989 Player of the Year for Randolph’s undefeated, state-ranked football powerhouse. A versatile athlete, he began the season at halfback before stepping into the quarterback role midseason—learning the position in just one week and leading the team with poise and skill.
He completed 47 of 77 passes for 528 yards, added over 200 rushing yards, and scored 8 touchdowns. Williams helped guide Randolph to an 11–0 record, a North 2 Group 3 State Sectional Championship, and the continuation of the program’s record-setting 39-game win streak. That year, the Rams claimed their fifth straight IHC title and finished ranked 4th in the state.
