Cecil Barrett
1988
A dynamic and versatile football player, Cecil Barrett was a key force behind Randolph’s 1988 undefeated season and North 2 Group 3 State Sectional Championship. Named to the All-State Team, he set a school record with 150 points, finishing 3rd in the state in scoring.
Barrett rushed for over 900 yards, added 400 receiving yards, and was a threat on special teams as a kick and punt returner. That season, the team extended its historic win streak to 28 games and finished ranked 4th in New Jersey. Also an All-County long jumper in track, Barrett was a true multi-sport talent and a team captain his senior year.
